**Old post, I changed them a few thousand km ago, but now I've finally gotten around to writing about it. The fuel filters arrived together with the drive belts (their part numbers can be seen in the post about replacing the belts).
In the end, I bought an AMD fine filter, an original fuel pump strainer, a fuel pump O-ring, and sealant. Of course, installing the filters didn't go without a few hiccups. Here's what I decided for myself: first, always do fuel filter replacements in special gloves; personally, gasoline caused an unpleasant burning sensation on my fingers. Also, I didn't fully relieve the pressure in the fuel system, and as a result, I spilled a bit of gasoline — quite unpleasant, it stank for about two days afterwards. (As far as I understand, after removing the fuel pump relay, you need to crank the starter more). Well, here's another tip that I learned from a repair manual. It turns out that on the fine filter, there's a place for grounding (I understand it's to prevent a spark when removing the fuel lines). It says the ground wire should only be disconnected after you've removed the hoses. Dunno, I took it off first thing, and it seemed fine) maybe I just got lucky. But the problem I couldn't solve was fully securing the metal cover with sealant (I didn't have anything heavy enough to press it down while it set).
P.S. And as a bonus, I noticed some sort of ghetto/jury-rigged, broken wire) under the seats (you can see a little bit of it in the photo). I fixed it and tucked it under the interior plastic. Turns out it was connected to the ground of the trunk lid light; nothing changed after fixing it. Maybe someone knows why such a ghetto mod was done? Need to figure it out sometime.
